  1. I would like to compliment Bruce Elder on his interesting and obviously well-researched article. Having been an admirer of Miklos Rosza’s music over many years now, I was unaware of his background, other than the basic information generally available, and appreciate this additional information.

    My introduction to Rosza was when I first saw, as a teenager, a re-release of Hitchcock’s “Spellbound”, a great many years ago. It was then, that I discovered that music played such an important role in film, and have followed Rosza’s music ever since. An ancient LP disc containing themes from “Spellbound”, “Quo Vadis” and “The Red House” is a prized possession in my recorded music collection.

  2. An well-researched tribute to my late friend and colleague, Dr. Miklos Rozsa, whose music I recorded on three occasions.
